Terms of Service

Effective November 3, 2026 · Version 2026-11-03 · Ace Family Wizard & Chore Tracker

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Ace Family Wizard & Chore Tracker (“we”, “us”, the “Owner”) for the Ace Family Wizard & Chore Tracker website, app, software, designs, content and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, joining a family, or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

  • Accounts may only be created by adults aged 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian who adds a child is responsible for that child's use and consents on the child's behalf.
  • Children may use the Service only through a family created and supervised by their parent or guardian.
  • You are responsible for your account, passwords and PINs, and all activity under them. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

2. License to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Service for your own household's non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Owner.

3. Ownership and intellectual property

The Service and everything in it — including the software and source code, features, workflows, user interface, look and feel, designs, graphics, badges, text, names, logos and trademarks — are owned by Ace Family Wizard & Chore Tracker or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade-secret and other laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

4. Prohibited uses

You agree not to, and not to help or allow anyone else to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or abusive purpose, or in violation of any law or regulation, including laws protecting children, privacy and health information;
  • copy, reproduce, duplicate, clone, mirror, frame, scrape, or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it, including its features, design, layout or content;
  • modify, adapt, translate, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to discover the source code, algorithms or structure of the Service, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, publish, white-label, or commercially exploit the Service, or use it to build a competing product or service;
  • remove, hide or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice;
  • access the Service by automated means (bots, crawlers, scripts) or interfere with, overload, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass any security, access control, PIN or rate limit;
  • access another family's data, impersonate anyone, or upload content that is illegal, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, or that exploits or endangers a minor;
  • upload viruses or malicious code, or use the Service to send spam.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, notes, schedules, medical details, contacts and other information you add (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process and display Your Content only to operate and provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the right to add Your Content, including information about other people such as emergency contacts.

6. Not medical, emergency or professional advice

Medicine reminders, dose tracking, refill alerts, doctor details and emergency contacts are organizational tools only. They are not medical advice and may be delayed, missed or inaccurate (for example due to device, network or notification settings). Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. You are solely responsible for your family's health and safety decisions.

7. Points, rewards and prizes

Points, badges and prizes are a family motivation tool set up by parents. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not offered by us.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or the law, or to protect the Service, other users or the Owner. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 3, 4, 6 and 9–13 survive termination.

9. Enforcement and remedies

Any use of the Service in breach of these Terms is unauthorized and may infringe our intellectual property rights. Because a breach could cause irreparable harm, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in addition to any other remedies, and you agree to reimburse our reasonable attorneys' fees and costs incurred in enforcing these Terms against you where permitted by law. We may report unlawful activity to law enforcement.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OWNER AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, OR ANY HARM ARISING FROM MISSED REMINDERS, DOSES OR EVENTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [your state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [your state], and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Claims must be brought individually, not as a class action, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will ask you to accept the new version in the app; continued use after acceptance means you agree. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service.
